Questions
Good to know
Where does Bead work?
We’re starting in San Diego, California. Join the waitlist and we’ll tell you when we reach your neighborhood.
How does pricing work?
You see an all-in price before you book. It’s the detailer’s price for your car and how dirty it is, plus a booking fee of about 10% (less above $300). The price you see is the price you pay, and tips are optional.
When do I pay?
After the detail is finished. We place a temporary hold on your card 48 hours before your detail (or when you book, for sooner ones) to make sure it works, and your card is charged once the job is done.
What if something gets damaged?
Tell us in the app within 48 hours with a photo. The Bead Guarantee covers damage up to $1,000, and your detailer’s arrival photos protect everyone from damage that was already there.
Is it water-free?
Many details are. At apartments, offices and on the street, details are always water-free, using rinseless and waterless products. At a house, a detailer only uses water if you say it’s okay, and they keep wash water out of the street.
